Today is the first day of the declared state of emergency in the province. Since the new year, I was experiencing mixed feelings about closing the salon as I won’t be working for an uncertain amount of time. I know that a lot of small businesses have similar feelings especially since it is the second state of emergency this year. Trust me, it's tough. But...

Secondly, I want to say, that I am not planning to give up and cry. It wouldn’t help me anyways, right? I don't do New year resolutions anymore. During the past few years I would choose a word that gave me direction for the year. In December 2020, I realized that I want movement in a lot of aspects of my life.
