Eyelash extensions during a pandemic. How do we deal with it?
As of August 2020, it’s officially been one month since the Halton Region (Oakville, Burlington, Milton and other) allowed for the reopening of facial services in aesthetics salons.
After four months of closure due to COVID -19, we can finally provide our many services following the government issued safety measures. While ensuring a safe environment for our clients, iLashOakville is taking all necessary precautions as we offer our services of eyelash extensions, lash lifts and tints, eyebrow waxing, microblading, facials, Botox, and fillers.
What is new in our salon?
Extra precautions have been put in place upon your arrival and throughout our service. Walk-ins are no longer permitted, and appointments must be scheduled ahead of arrival. We will be checking your temperature at the door, and masks will be required (unless it interferes with a service, such as a facial). We kindly ask our clients to refrain from touching our lash and facial products on display to avoid contamination. Other safety measures will include thorough cleaning and sanitizing before and after each treatment. For both safety and comfort, we remind our clients that they can use the time during their eyelash extensions application for a lovely nap. We should minimize our conversation for maximum comfortability and both our health and safety.
What is still the same in our salon?
- Separate rooms for each client
- Wearing mask and gloves throughout our service
- Professional, friendly, and welcoming staff
- Immaculate cleaning
- Thorough sanitization and the use of disposable tools such as brushes, eye patches etc.
